AUBREY'S HOUSE is one of the many areas within FARAWAY TOWN in OMORI. It is where AUBREY and her mother primarily reside throughout the game.
GEOGRAPHY[]
AUBREY’S HOUSE is the first house shown within AUBREY'S STREET, located southwest of the crossroad intersection. It is recognizable by its deteriorated, rotting state and sullen design. The interior is not accessible until SUNNY’s last day in FARAWAY TOWN. Surrounding the house's exterior are two trash bags, a stop sign, stray traffic cones, and a dark-colored trash bin. AUBREY’s bicycle is also placed behind the house.
The door is not actually locked, despite the hazards of keeping it unlocked. Inside, most of the rooms are blocked off due to the expanses of trash lying around, and the sole factor in the dysfunctional household is AUBREY's mother, who sits wordlessly on the couch surrounded by beer bottles and stares blankly into the screen with a tired and far-off look in her eyes. Up a ladder leading to the attic is AUBREY's room, decorated neatly with a cage for her pet rabbit and a corkboard for the PHOTO ALBUM memories that she cherished.
STORY[]
THREE DAYS LEFT[]
After AUBREY tearfully storms off from CHURCH upon hearing the nearby churchgoers gossiping about her background, SUNNY and KEL decide to check on her. However, they witness AUBREY exiting her house to throw the PHOTO ALBUM into a trash bin.
As she does so, AUBREY briefly glances back at the album before closing the door. This allows the two boys to retrieve the PHOTO ALBUM and return it to BASIL’s possession.
ONE DAY LEFT[]
When SUNNY, KEL, and HERO wake up from their sleepover, KIM comes to SUNNY'S house to inform them that AUBREY isn't answering her door. HERO insists that they need to go make up with AUBREY, and he directs the party to her house to talk to her. All the delinquents are outside her house and are genuinely worried about her.
The party goes inside, and HERO talks to AUBREY to convince her and KEL to make up. The group also finds the missing photos, which are all pictures of MARI on her corkboard, AUBREY mentioning that she took them because "it's all she has left of her." They put them back in the PHOTO ALBUM, make up with AUBREY, and exit the house.
NOTABLE AREAS[]
LIVING ROOM[]
The LIVING ROOM is the first room the group explores when checking on AUBREY during ONE DAY LEFT. From there, much of it is left in disarray and untidiness due to the neglectful nature of AUBREY’s mother. Heading up north leads to the HALLWAY of the house. Multiple pieces of garbage are scattered across the room, the most notable being two obtainable TRASH that the group can give to the OLD LADY at FARAWAY PARK. Sounds of TV ambience is heard from the TV set AUBREY's mother is watching.
To the right of the room is a tiled floor with orange and yellow tiles. Multiple alcoholic beverages are shown scattered like other garbage left on the floor. The upper corner of that section is the kitchen, which appears rather dirty as the dishes are left in the sink, the stove appears to be fixed, and the fridge is left open.
The left corner of the room is where AUBREY’s mother can be found sitting on the couch watching TV, not bothering to respond due to her despondent demeanor. The player can interact with the TV to turn it off, but nothing else will happen. The TV itself is set on a small cardboard box, and between it are a lamp and a phone. The window next to it is closed, preventing light from coming into the house.
HALLWAY[]
The HALLWAY of AUBREY’s house is rather crowded with trash. The ambience of a washing machine is heard in the background. Two family photos of AUBREY’s family can be seen to the right of the room. A single wardrobe and lamp are placed in between trash strewn across the floor. Another obtainable piece of TRASH can collected from here.
There are two doors and a ladder that lead to three separate rooms. From left to right, they consist of her mother’s room, the BATHROOM, and AUBREY’s BEDROOM. However, note that only the latter two rooms are accessible in-game, as the leftmost door is blocked off by two cardboard boxes.
AUBREY'S MOM'S ROOM[]
As mentioned before, the room belonging to AUBREY’s mother is inaccessible through normal gameplay, and can only be accessed through debug mode. This disoriented room, like many other rooms, reflects the current state of AUBREY’s life.
To the left is a bed with a green blanket, a drawer, three glass bottles lying beside the bed, and a wooden table featuring an unknown beverage and a cigarette holder. The window blind in the middle of the room is closed off. The right side of the room notably has a wardrobe, a lamp, bags of trash, and two laundry baskets holding her unwashed clothes.
BATHROOM[]
The BATHROOM is in a poor state, like the other rooms. A lone cardboard box lies beside the entrance, old magazines and comic books lie on the floor, a laundry basket is placed next to the mirror, and the toilet only has one roll of toilet paper. The mirror and sink also appear rather broken with several cracks and discolorations.
To the right of the BATHROOM is a bathtub with stains, a white towel, a lightbulb hanging from above, and some clothes right below it. A blue-colored rug is placed next to the bathtub, and a large crack on the top right corner of the room can be seen as well. Inspecting the mirror doesn’t prompt any special scene, as it generates generic text instead.
BEDROOM[]
Upon climbing up the ladder from the HALLWAY, AUBREY’s BEDROOM is accessed. The group visits the room to check on AUBREY, reconcile with her, and eventually regain possession of the remaining polaroids containing images of MARI. When AUBREY notices the group inside her room, she becomes rather irritated and embarrassed at having them see her overall living condition.
Up front is a large wooden corkboard that AUBREY uses to look back on memories with MARI via the polaroids she kept there after removing them from the PHOTO ALBUM. Below it is a wooden table holding a TV set. A side table is shown covering a hole in the wall.
To the right of the corkboard is AUBREY’s bed, a photo frame of AUBREY and KIM, and a poster of CAPT. SPACEBOY. The lower section of the room features a chair with wheels, a pen for AUBREY’s pet bunny BUN-BUN, a bucket used to keep rain from leaking in, and a laundry basket.

TRIVIA[]
- When inspecting the photo next to AUBREY’s bed, doing so reveals an image of a younger AUBREY, who notably lacks her teal contacts, and KIM fist-bumping while smiling back at the camera.
- As mentioned in the game, none of AUBREY’s old friends had ever actually been inside her home, and she didn't seem fond of having playdates at her home.
- This is presumably due to the state it is in, being littered with empty beer bottles and TRASH inside and out, being visibly rotting, and having stray traffic cones on the lawn.
- There is an additional room belonging to AUBREY'S MOM. However, it can only be viewed within the game’s data as it is inaccessible due to several pieces of trash blocking the entrance to the room.
- Although it is unused in the game, the fa_fridges.yaml file reveals that the fridge in AUBREY'S HOUSE contains mold.
- At night, AUBREY is still awake, as implied by the light seen from the upper window.
