COINS are an important item in OMORI.
OBTAINING[]
- Several COINS can be found scattered throughout different locations of FARAWAY TOWN.
- They are represented in the overworld by a grey coin sprite, which can sometimes be found occasionally.
LOCATIONS[]
The following list shows the locations of where a COIN can be found on each day (both morning and evening):
- THREE DAYS LEFT (morning): In front of the road in FARAWAY PLAZA.
- THREE DAYS LEFT (evening): In the yard of SARAH'S HOUSE.
- TWO DAYS LEFT (morning): In front of the CHURCH.
- TWO DAYS LEFT (evening): Next to JESSE'S HOUSE.
- ONE DAY LEFT (morning): In front of JOY'S HOUSE.
- ONE DAY LEFT (evening): Left of blue picnic blanket KEL and HERO's family is sitting on in FARAWAY PARK.

USAGE[]
Throwing a coin in the fountain will cause a dollar bill to appear somewhere in the map. The list below showcases the locations of where the dollar bill spawns depending on the day and segment it was thrown:
- THREE DAYS LEFT:
- Morning: Nothing spawns.
- Evening: Spawns near MIKHAEL'S HOUSE.
- TWO DAYS LEFT:
- Morning: Spawns in front of KIM'S HOUSE.
- Evening: Spawns near FARAWAY PLAZA's parking spot, hidden between the rightmost cars. Note that this dollar bill can be seen more clearly when checking the RPG Maker MV project of the game.
- ONE DAY LEFT:
- Morning: Spawns near entrance of the CHURCH.
- Evening: Spawns near VANCE'S HOUSE.

TRIVIA[]
- A dollar bill was planned to appear in the CROSSROADS on the morning of THREE DAYS LEFT after throwing the coin, but it does not appear in the actual game. This is likely an oversight caused by the Event ID being mistakenly set to another number.
