Hi, I'm HUMPHREY! Your all-access pass to HUMPHREY A.K.A. SLIME GIRLS LAIR.

— HUMPHREY

HUMPHREY, also known as SLIME GIRLS LAIR, is the final mandatory location for the HEADSPACE segments in OMORI. It consists of the various areas located within the enigmatic whale himself from DEEPER WELL.

GEOGRAPHY

Humphrey Elevator Sprite

The interior of HUMPHREY features a large set of neatly organized intestines and laboratories scattered throughout the whale's stomach. It is also the home of the SLIME GIRLS, a trio of sea witches consisting of MOLLY, MARINA, and MEDUSA.

Most of the area's residents are multiple HUMPHREY buds that work around the place, similar to that of an actual parasite. Regardless, the party can explore three different sectors of HUMPHREY to progress.

Along with that, they will have to solve every puzzle in each sector, while dealing the last set of HEADSPACE enemies on both routes before taking on the SLIME GIRLS and later HUMPHREY himself. There is also an elevator that takes the party down towards to an area serving as a crossroad leading to the three SLIME GIRLS' laboratories.

STORY

HUMPHREY is located at the very end of DEEPER WELL. HUMPHREY first explains that OMORI and his friends were not the only ones to visit him lately, as a "very loud girl with a big, red bow" had seen him earlier, this being SWEETHEART. HUMPHREY then allows OMORI'S party to enter his stomach. The player has to then visit each of the three SLIME GIRLS' sectors, watching as they try to satisfy SWEETHEART's wishes for a perfect clone of herself. MOLLY attempts ROBOHEART, MARINA attempts MUTANTHEART, and MEDUSA attempts PERFECTHEART. However, none of them are able to reach SWEETHEART's overly high expectations.

After the player visits the last SLIME GIRL sector, whichever that may be, OMORI obtains the SLIMY KEY CARD, allowing him to descend into HUMPHREY's deeper area, where the SLIME GIRLS confront SWEETHEART for the lack of payment, but as HUMPHREY disposes of her after she refuses to pay and attempts to escape, it is revealed that she had no CLAMS in her possession.

As HUMPHREY gets hungrier from the lack of CLAMS he has been fed, the SLIME GIRLS decide to sell KEL's body parts to obtain clams to feed HUMPHREY, which results in a battle against the three. If OMORI and his friends are successful, HUMPHREY will consume the SLIME GIRLS, and then tries to devour the group. OMORI's party will then have to defeat HUMPHREY, resulting in him burping them all out and taking a nap, as he slowly sinks into his pool, not to be seen again.

On the OMORI ROUTE, HUMPHREY can be accessed again by feeding him the GIANT CHECK from MR. JAWSUM. This will unlock MUTANTHEART and PERFECTHEART to be fought as bosses. Additionally, it gives three new sidequests, and unlocks BOSS RUSH.

NOTABLE AREAS

SLIME GIRL ENTRANCE

Slime Girl Entrance (Screenshot)

The starting point for HUMPHREY is a island, with 4 different options to go: back outside, forward, left, and right. On the island, there is a HUMPHREY elevator that can take the party straight down, but requires a SLIMY KEY CARD.

Additionally, the island has three locked trapdoors located on left, right, and forward ends of the island. From there, you and your friends can ride a raft to progress through the waters.

Omori Group Raft

The leftmost route is characterized by blue liquid, and is MOLLY's sector. The rightmost route has green water, and is MEDUSA's sector. The route straight ahead has reddish water, and is MARINA's sector.

The end of each sector leads to the observatory of the respective SLIME GIRL laboratory. Once the player has reached the end, the trapdoor will open, allowing the player to reach the end directly from the island.

MOLLY'S SECTOR

Molly Main Room (Screenshot)

MOLLY's sector leads along a river of blue liquid to a small island, where a teleporter is. The teleporter will teleport the party to a nearby steel platform, where they can take an elevator to the next room.

The next room is a large laboratory, with a bomb in the middle. A video will play, with MOLLY telling MARINA she can steal her things if she solves her puzzles and disarms the bomb. Three puzzles are required to solve the bomb.

Molly Bomb Puzzle (Incomplete)

The enemies encountered within this sector consist of several WORM-BOTS lying around the area. Before heading into the puzzle-solving rooms, MARI and her picnic can be found near one of the floating mirrors. You can save, heal up, or rest continuing forward.

In order to solve each of the three puzzles, the player must take one of three below teleporters into specific rooms, in which are clues on how to solve each puzzle. There is a blue, red, and green teleporter, each pertaining to a different puzzle.

Disarming the bomb will allow the player to enter the observatory for MOLLY's laboratory. When returning here on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE, an elevator here can take the party to the BOSS RUSH room, hosted by BOSS himself.

BLUE TELEPORTER

Molly Room Right 1 (Screenshot)

The first puzzle is a 3x3 series of squares, with room to move in between. It is considered the easiest one to solve out of the three puzzles available for you to complete.

The party must step on the tiles in the right order to solve it. Activating this puzzle activates a blue teleporter, which takes the group to a hallway with OPERATOR HUMPHREYs working.

Going past them leads to another hallway to four different HUMPHREY buds, each working an experiment involving their own 3x3 grid. Speaking to any respective HUMPHREY bud prompts them to either show off their experiment or ask the group to try it out.

Easy Puzzle Sprite

However, one tile on each of the four experiments is broken, which are also the correct sequence for the first puzzle. At the end of this hallway is another blue teleporter taking the party back to the laboratory.

The following sequence below showcases the order of how to solve the first puzzle. If you have already completed this puzzle before and retry it, going through these rooms isn't really necessary.

RED TELEPORTER

Hard Room Puzzle (Molly)

The second puzzle is a series of 4 differently colored wires that must be cut in the right order. Its difficulty is considered hard to solve out of the three puzzles available for you to complete.

Activating this puzzle activates a red teleporter, which takes the party to an empty room containing 2 WORM-BOTS, along with 4 teleporters, the southernmost one leading back to the laboratory. There is also a sign that implies the solution: it shows that the player must take a specific teleporter based on the number of WORM-BOTS in the room.

Hard Puzzle Sprite

Taking a teleporter takes the player to another room with a different amount of WORM-BOTS. As the group goes through the rooms in the correct sequence, they must pay attention to the color of the background wall of each room, including the first. The fourth and last room leads back to the laboratory.

The sequence of colors is the order in which they must be cut. ROBOHEART can also be found in one of these rooms after SWEETHEART rejects her on both routes of the game. Defeating ROBOHEART will yield The First Law achievement. The following sequence below showcases the order of which wires corresponding to a specific color should be cut first.

GREEN TELEPORTER

Molly Room Left (Screenshot)

The third puzzle is a computer that asks for a password, with several options. It also activates the green teleporter, which takes the group to large room with multiple CONVEYOR-BOTS and green teleporters. Its difficulty is considered medium to solve out of the three puzzles available for you to complete. Unlike the ones in the JUNKYARD, these CONVEYOR BOTS respond to KEL, but the player does not need to tag KEL to change their directions.

Password Options (Molly)

The green teleporters in the room will take the party to various locations in the same room. A few WORM-BOTS roam around the place alongside a WATERMIMIC disguised as a watermelon. These enemies aren't that difficult but can used for grinding more EXP.

The V HANGMAN Key can be found in the first room inside of a cage, which can only be unlocked through AUBREY's tag ability and obtained by OMORI. The watermelons found here contain the MAILBOX weapon for AUBREY and HOMEWORK charm.

Medium Puzzle Sprite

One green teleporter will take OMORI and his friends to a hallway with a security camera, where a cutscene will demonstrate their further diminishing memory of BASIL. A teleporter at the end of the room will take the player back to the original room.

After getting through the CONVEYOR-BOT and teleporter maze, an elevator will take the group back to the area surrounding the previous security camera room. A conveyor belt takes the group to four HUMPHREYS, with the password, BOOM, written on their backs. Taking the teleporter at the end will take the group back to the laboratory.

MOLLY BOSS ROOM

Molly Boss Room (Full Map)

Upon reaching MOLLY's laboratory, she is found to be in the process of creating ROBOHEART. When ROBOHEART is finished, MOLLY realizes that she is unable to understand what it is saying and immediately decides that it is evil, causing SWEETHEART to run off in irritation. MOLLY's robotic creation can later be located in the medium difficulty puzzle in her laboratory on both routes of the game.

This area is later fully explorable on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE. When visiting here, the player will find MOLLY as an disembodied head like her other two sisters. Upon noticing OMORI and the party, MOLLY apologizes for her previous actions, noting she and her sisters tend to get carried away.

Molly Boss Room (Screenshot)

She then asks the group to help her restore her body by collecting SCRAP METAL, which can be obtained by defeating any WORM-BOTS roaming around her sector. Defeating a single WORM-BOT will automatically drop SCRAP METAL for the group to collect. From that point on, the player can then return to MOLLY's lab to finish the sidequest.

Upon giving MOLLY the SCRAP METAL, a short cutscene reveals that despite her efforts, MOLLY isn't able to fully recreate her original body. However, she then decides that she prefers to just be a head. MOLLY then thanks the group by giving them the HIGH HEELS charm and this leads to the completion of the sidequest. Interacting with MOLLY's head has her commenting on how she finds that having no body is more convenient, wondering why she didn't think of that before.

MEDUSA'S SECTOR

MEDUSA RIVERS 1-3

Medusa River 1 (Screenshot)

MEDUSA's sector leads along a green river, which eventually continues onto some land. The next room leads to a waterfall, where the player must explore the surrounding area to find HUMPHREY buds to form a bridge across. Some HUMPHREY buds must be knocked down from inaccessible areas, using KEL's tag ability, into the green liquid in this room. In the same room, MARI and her picnic basket are located there, so heal up and save progress before continuing forward.

The enemies encountered within this sector consist of the WATERMIMIC, SNOT BUBBLE, and SLIME BUNNY. There are also several watermelons that contain FISH TACO, MELON SMOOTHIE, CHEESEBURGER, two DYNAMITES, and the GLOBE weapon for KEL to equip. One of the watermelons is disguised as a WATERMIMIC but it won't possess much of a threat compared to other enemies in the area.

Medusa River 2 (Screenshot)

There is also an above library where the player must use KEL's tag ability on bookshelves to knock HUMPHREY buds into the below room to more accessible areas. The library also has a cutscene that demonstrates the group's diminishing memories of BASIL and his existence. Once the player has asked all the HUMPHREY buds for help, the group can cross the bridge and take a river into the next room.

The player then enters an area where food is raining down. Note that these foods cannot be collected there and if one of them falls onto the party, each party member will receive 5% HEART damage. The end of this area leads to another room also with some more food raining down. BIG MOLIO is also here, and can be rescued.

FALLING FOODS

MEDUSA RIVER 4

Wtf 10

The next room has the appearance of a resort, with multiple HUMPHREYS enjoying themselves. There are also two ledges where KEL can use his tag ability; matching three HUMPHREYS on the left gives the ONION RING, doing the same on the right gives a WHOLE PIZZA. There are two southern routes, one on the left and one on the right. The left southern route takes the player to another waterfall, where another bridge must be built.

Taking the right southern route leads the player to a system of rivers with several crossroads, and where several HUMPHREY buds can be knocked down. After completing a route in the river system, the party arrives at the waterfall, and must go back up to the resort area to reattempt the river system.

U KEY LOCATION

Due to the crossroads, the group must travel the river system two different times at least to find all the HUMPHREY buds. This is also where the U HANGMAN Key and the APPENDIX charm can be found too. After the bridge is formed, the player is taken to another library, where a door leads to the observatory for MEDUSA's laboratory. A watermelon containing CONFETTI can be found within the library as well.

Note that if the player's WTF VALUE is set to 13, one of the HUMPHREY buds says "I fucking love air-conditioning" if interacted with, then sets a self switch to say the normal dialogue.

HUMPHREY TARGETS

MEDUSA BOSS ROOM

Medusa Boss Room (Full Map)

Upon reaching MEDUSA's laboratory, the player observes the former hushing SWEETHEART not to complain about the foul smell of her laboratory. She finishes creating PERFECTHEART, leading to SWEETHEART touching the glass the "perfect suitor" is contained in. MEDUSA pushes her away and chides her not to, as she may ruin the experiment.

After PERFECTHEART emerges, MEDUSA expresses her disbelief at how perfect PERFECTHEART turned out to be. When SWEETHEART rejects PERFECTHEART and insults MEDUSA, MEDUSA finally expresses her frustration at her ridiculous demands and storms off before SWEETHEART can.

This area is later fully explorable on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE. When visiting here, the player will find MEDUSA as an disembodied head like her other two sisters. Upon noticing OMORI and the party, MEDUSA expresses shock while noting her excitement over seeing them alive again.

Medusa Boss Room (Screenshot)

She then requires that the group go and get some SNOT to rebuild her body. This can be done by defeating any SNOT BUBBLE roaming around her sector. Upon giving MEDUSA the SNOT, a short cutscene reveals that MEDUSA has successfully restored her original body. She will then thank the group while giving them a MYSTERY POTION as a token of gratitude.

She suggests try drinking the potion as the effects should prove... entertaining according to her tone. This will lead to the completion of the sidequest. Interacting with MEDUSA afterwards has her asking OMORI if he has tried out the MYSTERY POTION.

MARINA'S SECTOR

MARINA ROOMS 1-4

Marina Room 1 (Screenshot)

MARINA's sector starts with a red colored river, which leads to an outcropping of land. The next room is a short stretch of land, with a RECEPTIONIST HUMPHREY present, along with multiple empty cages.

The enemies encountered throughout this sector are several LAB RATS and SPROUT MOLES??. The watermelons within these rooms contain LIFE JAM, COMBO MEAL, WHOLE CHICKEN, and an AIR HORN.

Marina Room 3 (Screenshot)

The next room consists of multiple islands, each with two levels, with HUMPHREY bridges. AUBREY must go on to the lower level to smash these HUMPHREY bridges, which will then cause HUMPHREY to form a bridge on the upper level connecting the various islands somewhere else.

This room also contains many of MARINA'S early experiments. From there, you can interact with these creatures for a variety of options available.

Note that petting all of them will yield the Good Dog? achievement. Avoid poking the creatures before doing so, as one will float away and disappear, preventing the achievement from being acquired.

Marina Room 4 (Screenshot)

After this, there is a walkway where there are multiple SPROUT MOLES?? roaming around and a few HUMPHREY buds AUBREY can whack using her tag ability. There is also a short cutscene that plays, revealing STRANGER briefly standing near a disheveled FLOWER CROWN before vanishing, and the group slowly forgetting about BASIL.

After watching the cutscene, continue moving through the pathway while avoiding or fighting the SPROUT MOLES??.

MARINA MAZE

Experiment 667 (Screenshot)

After this, there is another twisting walkway. However, EXPERIMENT 667 will start chasing you after the party passes it. Allowing it to catch you will teleport you back to the EXPERIMENT 667 container. In order to escape, the player must have AUBREY in the lead, and smash multiple HUMPHREY buds on outcroppings. This will form bridges, connecting various islands, and allow you to escape.

There are three watermelons that contain HEART STRING, BLENDER, and WATERMELON JUICE. Obtaining the BLENDER allows HERO to learn the REFRESH skill, which heals 50% of a friend's JUICE. The T Key can also be found in a large bubbly container. If it wasn't collected before, HUMPHREY will regurgitate it into DEEPER WELL after he is defeated along with the W Key.

Chimera Tube (Broken)

If the player's WTF VALUE is set greater than or equal to eight, the SPELLING BEE will appear during the chase segment. When interacting with it, they will use the same dialogue from the PROLOGUE.

It is advised to not interact with the SPELLING BEE when it appears as doing so will simply hinder the party's progress to escape and allowing EXPERIMENT 667 to attack the group. It later disappears after the chase segment ends.

Afterwards, in the next room, if BIG MOLIO was found, he will fall on EXPERIMENT 667, killing it. If BIG MOLIO was not found, a HOT DOG will take this role. Then, through a door, the player can access the observatory for MARINA's laboratory.

MARINA BOSS ROOM

Marina Boss Room (Full Map)

Upon entering MARINA's laboratory, the player can observe MARINA creating something for SWEETHEART, who is shown waiting impatiently for her perfect suitor. MARINA speaks to her client informally and addresses her in a rather arrogant matter before presenting her results in the form of the adorable MUTANTHEART with little glee in her voice. SWEETHEART is appalled by how different MUTANTHEART looks and storms off, taking offence to the horrendous suitor. MARINA, initially a bit irritated, becomes furious at the realization that she received no payment and runs off to track the client down.

This area is later fully explorable on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE. When visiting here, the player will find MARINA alongside her creation MUTANTHEART but appears as an disembodied head like her other two sisters. Upon noticing OMORI and the party, MARINA apologizes for her previous actions, noting it was just a "spur of the moment kind of thing".

Marina Boss Room (Screenshot)

She then asks the group to help her restore her body by collecting RAT MEAT, which can be obtained by defeating any LAB RATS roaming around her sector. Defeating a single LAB RAT will automatically drop RAT MEAT for the group to collect. From that point on, the player can then return to MARINA's lab to finish the sidequest. Upon giving MARINA the RAT MEAT, a short cutscene reveals that MARINA has successfully restored her original body. She will thank the group while giving them a FINGER charm as a token of gratitude. MARINA will then resume doing her experiments afterwards.

This leads to the completion of the sidequest. Interacting with MARINA near her operating table results in extra dialogue consisting of her wondering where she put her chainsaw. For additional content, the player can also interact with MUTANTHEART but note that choosing the fight option will lead to an optional boss fight. Defeating MARINA's creation will earn her entry in the FOE FACTS! journal alongside the Inhuman achievement as well.

HUMPHREY BOSS ROOM

SLIME GIRLS LAIR

Humphrey Boss Room (Screenshot 1)

The last observatory visited will lead to the SLIMY KEY CARD, for progression of the story. This can be done in any order. Using the SLIMY KEY CARD will have HUMPHREY take you further into his insides. There is one pathway forward, which leads to an outcropping surrounded in what appears to be teeth.

There are three paths to each of the sectors, all of which take the party to the ground floor of each of the SLIME GIRLS' laboratories. This is also where you'll be able to fight against the SLIME GIRLS and HUMPHREY, all serving as the final mandatory bosses for the remaining HEADSPACE segments. Defeating them will yield the Slime Time is Over! and Whale Done achievements respectively.

Humphrey Boss Room (Screenshot 2)

On ONE DAY LEFT, the party can also encounter PERFECTHEART for an optional boss fight if interacted with, along with SWEEPHEART, who is now working under the orders of her more "perfect" clone. Speaking with PERFECTHEART multiple times here will start her battle.

Upon defeating her, she is renamed to "IMPERFECTHEART", and she laments over her newfound flaw. Her white outline fades away as well, but causes OMORI to glow as a result. Her defeat will also grant the player the Minor Imperfection achievement.

HUMPHREY'S UVULA

Humphrey's Uvula (Screenshot)

After defeating all boss phases of HUMPHREY, the player will be taken to a deeper area, surrounded by various SOMETHING variants (LILIS and SALLIS) and an hollow BGM playing in the background. At this point, the only way to escape is to defeat the final mandatory enemy up ahead, which is none other than HUMPHREY's UVULA. This enemy will go down in one hit and will not attack at all.

Afterwards, this will result in HUMPHREY forming a geyser that ejects the group out of his body. Satisfied that his stomach is full, HUMPHREY disappears into the depths of DEEPER WELL, before leaving behind the W and (if it was missed inside HUMPHREY earlier) T keys required for the HANGMAN game.

BOSS RUSH

BOSS RUSH

The BOSS RUSH room is a bonus area in HUMPHREY that can be accessed through MOLLY's sector. The main host is none other than BOSS, who offers to run a simulation of all the story-mandatory bosses that OMORI and his party have fought before (More info on these bosses are shown on the page). There are four trophies that can be earned and displayed in this room, depending on how far the party has completed the BOSS RUSH.

These are the PARTICIPATION RIBBON, COOL TROPHY, COOLER TROPHY, and COOLEST TROPHY. The PARTICIPATION RIBBON is a small participation ribbon, the COOL TROPHY is a life size statue of SIR MAXIMUS, the COOLER TROPHY is a life size statue of PLUTO, and the COOLEST TROPHY is an extremely large statue of a HUMPHREY bud. Completing the BOSS RUSH also yields MARI'S COOKIE from MARI herself and the Seriously, you're the coolest! achievement.

Exclusive to the console releases, if the BOSS RUSH simulation was attempted at least once, OMORI has the option to initiate a special version of the event, titled the BASIL RUSH. This can be done by interacting with BASIL, who is shown sitting at a table with MARI. This will allow players to use BASIL as a playable party member when entering the simulation with OMORI. There are also four new simulation bosses that serve as the final opponents of the event, all taking on the form of OMORI and BASIL's friends.

EXTRAS

TRIVIA

  • The SLIME GIRLS LAIR is also labeled as WHALE DUNGEON in the game's data.
  • According to OMOCAT, HUMPHREY is their least favorite area in the game. In addition, the console ports originally planned to have an option where players could use DYNAMITE to blow up HUMPHREY, thus allowing them to skip the entire area.[1]
    • OMOCAT also considered shortening or removing the HUMPHREY dungeon to improve the emotional pacing of the narrative. At that point, however, the team wasn't able to rework any further changes due to time constraints and the possibility of those changes producing a game-breaking bug.[2]
  • The entire layout of HUMPHREY is considered one of the longest segments in-game, the other being SWEETHEART'S CASTLE.
  • HUMPHREY contains the most number of enemies the player can fight in battle, which also includes the BOSS RUSH variants of the story-mandatory bosses fought before, such as SPACE EX-BOYFRIEND.
  • It is notable that the stomach acid for each SLIME GIRL's sector has a color corresponding to a character's main color scheme. This also extends to the colors of the waterfalls and statues near the laboratory entrances in SLIME GIRLS LAIR.
    • MOLLY's sector is represented by the color blue.
    • MEDUSA's sector is represented by the color green.
    • MARINA's sector is represented by the color red.
  • In MOLLY LEFT ROOM 1, the conveyor belt features multiple objects. These include KEYMAGNET, a JUNKYARD KEY, a vase, CANDLE BUNNY, SLIMY KEY CARD, a bumper with multiple variations, DIAL-UP, a basket of KEL's throwing items, a watermelon, a present, a jack-in-the-box, a basket of tomatoes, a wilted tulp, a poster banner, SHADOW DOG, a HUMPHREY BUD, a minecart, a bag of flour, a silver bowl, a purple plastic bowl, a plastic baking pan, and a metal baking pan.
  • There is an unused enemy titled SINGLE HUMPHREY. They were originally going to appear after the SLIME GIRLS were defeated, and before the final HUMPHREY battle. They can only be found in the 2019 build of the game.
  • If the group has gone down the water slide a total of three times, HERO will ask them to finish gathering the HUMPHREYS as he is slowly becoming sick from the high velocity of the ride.
  • SLIME GIRLS LAIR's laboratory setting may be based on FARAWAY HOSPITAL. This is supported by the battle background of the area featuring surgical lights and hospital curtains.
    • It may also be a reference to the hospital found in THE TRUTH segment.
Omori NPC Dialogue (Humphrey)

Omori can be spoken to, only during the third operation of the easy puzzle segment with another party member.

  • HUMPHREY serves as one of the two locations where OMORI can be interacted with as an NPC, the other being WHITE SPACE when entering it as SUNNY. In both cases, OMORI will simply remain silent upon being spoken to.
  • There are two WTF events that can play out depending on the player's WTF VALUE:
    • If the WTF VALUE is set greater than or equal to eight, the SPELLING BEE appears in the EXPERIMENT 667 chase segment inside HUMPHREY. It uses the same dialogue from the TRAIN STATION and disappears after the EXPERIMENT 667 sequence.
    • If the WTF VALUE is set equal to thirteen, one of the HUMPHREY buds says "I fucking love air conditioning" if interacted with, then sets a self switch to say the normal dialogue.
  • HUMPHREY serves as one of the five locations where the MYSTERY POTION's effects can work properly. The other four areas consist of the DEEP WELL, LAST RESORT, DEEPER WELL, and THE ABYSS.
  • HUMPHREY as a character and setting can be taken as an allegory for HEADSPACE and SUNNY himself. Just as HUMPHREY spends his time inside of himself playing with other versions of himself, SUNNY does the same just inside his dreams, where all the characters of HEADSPACE are not real and just parts of SUNNY, inside of his mind.
  • During the picnic segment within MEDUSA's SECTOR, MARI's dialogue where she tells OMORI to "Think bigger" and "expand your mind" is later referenced through one of the various BLACK SPACE NPCs.[3]
  • The skeletons that appear in the background of the HUMPHREY fight are implied to be remains of the previous iterations of AUBREY, KEL, and HERO as the game mentions that the party has been on the same journey and died many times before in the past.[4]
    • Also notable is that one of the skeletons residing within THE ABYSS is labeled AUBREY?, and when interacting with her, she mumbles "SNIFF... SNIFF... OMORI...", further implying the aforementioned indication there.
SGL MollyHint2
  • There is an unused version of the hard puzzle hint in the game's files, which implies the order of cutting the wires originally would be showcased by the number of WORM-BOTS for each room.
  • HUMPHREY buds will appear in the SLIME GIRLS' rooms after HUMPHREY swallows them. This cannot be properly seen in-game due to the doors being locked.
