A VENUS FLYTRAP resembles a cartoony version of a real-life venus flytrap but with watermelon colors on its body. It notably possesses a pair of sharp teeth and thorns on its stem.
STORY[]
They can found scattered in different areas of OTHERWORLD, most prominently residing within OTHERWORLD LAKE. Unlike the other enemies encountered in OTHERWORLD, the player must interact with them to initiate an encounter.

- The Venus flytrap is a carnivorous plant that entraps its prey in its mouth. It senses its prey by little hairs and swiftly closes to trap its prey.
- In the 2018 demo, the VENUS FLYTRAP's battle sprites originally lacked eyes. This matches more closely in appearance with its overworld sprite, which also depicts the creature having no eyes.
- In the game's data, there is an unused variant of the VENUS FLYTRAP with greater stats and different AI for its skills. Said variant has 2500
