HAROLD is an enemy in OMORI. He is one of the four SPROUT MOLES that form the royal guard that protects SWEETHEART'S CASTLE from intruders.

HAROLD is a SPROUT MOLE dressed in a knight's armor. The only parts exposing HAROLD himself are his white eyes in the darkness of his helmet, and his leaves poking out of the top of his head. Instead of a traditional plume on his head, there is a long blade, which could potentially be a weapon.
STORY[]
HAROLD is mainly encountered throughout various areas of SWEETHEART'S CASTLE, notably THE DUNGEON. He usually is fought alongside his comrades MARSHA, LUCIUS, and THERESE.

- HAROLD, LUCIUS, MARSHA, and THERESE's names are references to RPG Maker MV, being the default names for the actors in a freshly open project.
- In addition, if the party loses to HAROLD in-battle, the text will reveal HAROLD gaining OMORI's current EXP and leveling up, which references his status as the first default name presented for the party members in an RPG Maker MV project.
- HAROLD's appearance (excluding color scheme) is shared with the three SIR MAXIMUSES and the four guards that hold the password to the trapdoor leading to main underground section of the castle.
- HAROLD has two different overworld sprites, both used in-game. The first one features it completely armored, while the second has it with a lighter blue color and what are either uncovered feet or brown shoes (seen on the top right).
- HAROLD is sometimes referred as GUARD MOLE in the game's data.
- On the current patch of the game (1.0.8), there is a bug, likely related to its PROTECT skill, that makes other skills sometimes also receive extra SPEED. It is currently unknown how this bug occurs.
