In the midst of WRINKLY FOREHEAD's side quest the party can gain access to his house. JESSE refuses to leave his room - knocking on the door will just get him to tell the party to go away.
TWO DAYS LEFT[]
During the evening, with a little persistence the party can get to enter his room. JESSE gets properly introduced, and he insists that he just wants to be left alone. He says that his parents separated a long time ago, and while his mother regularly sends him shiny new toys as gifts, his father is very old-fashioned and does not understand modern gadgets very well. He has been isolating himself in his room ever since his two other friends, BRENT and JOY, began hanging out with him even less.
KEL calls him out on his selfish behaviour, and insists that JESSE should come out and address his father and see how much he actually cares for him. JESSE reluctantly leaves his room, but is moved to tears when he learns his father still cares about what he likes.

- Early enemy designs reveal that JESSE was originally named JASON. In addition, he was planned to be a fightable enemy and possibly a member of THE HOOLIGANS as well.
- JESSE's appearance is similar to BANGS, possibly serving as SUNNY's inspiration for the character's demeanour in HEADSPACE.
