LOST SPROUT MOLE is an enemy in OMORI. They are the first enemies encountered in the game within VAST FOREST alongside the FOREST BUNNY.
PROFILE[]
A LOST SPROUT MOLE resembles a brown teardrop-shaped creature with two feet and a sprout growing from its head. BERLY and OMORI both describe them as UGLY PLANT CREATURES with dead empty eyes and a gaping mouth.
STORY[]
SPROUT MOLES are usually peaceful creatures, but once LOST, they become aggressive. They are commonly found in the VAST FOREST and appear as NPCs throughout majority of HEADSPACE.
A single LOST SPROUT MOLE can be encountered at the TRAIN STATION after speaking to a SPROUT MOLE NPC waiting in line for the TRAIN to start. Defeating it has no impact on the plot itself.
Upon discovering their homeland SPROUT MOLE COLONY in OTHERWORLD, the party finds out that SPROUT MOLES are actually highly intelligent and sociable creatures. This is unfortunately revealed after the party has gone through the VAST FOREST and likely already encountered and killed many LOST SPROUT MOLES.
On THREE DAYS LEFT, the party later encounters and defeats four traveling LOST SPROUT MOLES on their way to PYREFLY FOREST. Upon defeating them, the party obtains four SHOW TICKETS for a show located within SWEETHEART'S CASTLE. A single LOST SPROUT MOLE can also be fought within PYREFLY FOREST, sometimes replaced with a SPROUT MOLE? on rare occasions.

- Both the LOST SPROUT MOLE and FOREST BUNNY are the only enemies that have variants that share the same appearance with them but flipped upside down, that being the SPROUT MOLE? and FOREST BUNNY? respectively.
- The four LOST SPROUT MOLES that are fought at the start of TWO DAYS LEFT share identical stats to a regular LOST SPROUT MOLE's VAST FOREST variant.
- The only differences is that they drop SHOW TICKETS for the FRONT-ROW TICKETS sidequest, and when ANGRY, they have a 5% higher chance (65% instead of 60%) of inflicting normal damage.
- The first three LOST SPROUT MOLES fought within the PATH TO BASIL during the PROLOGUE are referred to as ANGRY MOLE, HAPPY MOLE, and SAD MOLE in the game's enemy troop data.
