NEIGHBOR'S BEDROOM is a location in OMORI, exclusive to the OMORI ROUTE. It can only be reached once, by climbing a staircase of red hands after rescuing BASIL and escaping BLACK SPACE.
The NEIGHBOR'S BEDROOM is a large floating room that resembles the overall layout of NEIGHBOR'S ROOM. It notably features 6 beds in the room, each one for OMORI and friends. All characters are shown sleeping there, per the instruction of THE BIG YELLOW CAT (who guards the room) in order to cause HEADSPACE to be reset.
Once BASIL heads back to sleep, OMORI has the option to interact with his sleeping friends. Each one of them will talk through their sleep. He can also look at the objects that populate the room. Most of these objects can be found in NEIGHBOR'S ROOM. There are some few new objects that are found within the area, consisting of group of flowers, photos hung on the wall, and a light bulb hanging from the ceiling. The light bulb appears to contain a tiny sprout growing inside of it.
Heading upwards will cause the screen to zoom up to the BIG YELLOW CAT, who informs OMORI to rest as he is safe with him. Other than that, there is nothing else to do but simply rest in the bed between AUBREY and BASIL. Doing so will end the BLACK SPACE segments and set HEADSPACE back to its original state, mostly cleansing it of any reminders of the truth.
STORY
After defeating STRANGER, OMORI wakes up and finds BASIL standing before him in the CHURCH OF SOMETHING. The two notice a group of RED HANDS forming a staircase that goes into a white light shining above them. OMORI and BASIL then escape BLACK SPACE by climbing up the staircase, eventually arriving at the NEIGHBOR'S BEDROOM.
Upon entering the bedroom, the RED HANDS forming the staircase will then leave. AUBREY, KEL, HERO, and MARI are shown sleeping in their beds. Knowing that their adventure is finally over, OMORI and BASIL head over to their respective beds to rest.
Once OMORI chooses to fall asleep, as instructed by the BIG YELLOW CAT, this results in a soft reset for all of HEADSPACE. This leads to a repeat of first few minutes of the game with a few changes: BASIL appears to have never discovered the truth and more areas are expanded.
In addition, more optional side quests and optional bosses are available for OMORI and friends to complete. This "reset" also restores BASIL's house and garden returning to normal but it does not affect quest progress in HEADSPACE.

There's a movie on TV. Four girls are performing a rock song for a festival.
TRIVIA
This is the only area where the BIG YELLOW CAT speaks as opposed to being silent with his other appearances.
The song that plays in this location "Playing Forever" contains a brief motif of the FINAL DUET song that appears during the GOOD ENDING, albeit more twisted and mocking. This is most likely taunting SUNNY for choosing to plunge deeper into his escapism habits and not confronting the truth.
The BGM of this area can be faintly heard after completing the final chore on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE, as the SOMETHING fear border will slowly swarm the screen until SUNNY chooses to head back to sleep.
The lightbulb shown in this area also appears in BASIL's room within his own house in FARAWAY TOWN.
