BOWEN, also known as OTHER TWIN, is a character in OMORI. He is the twin brother of DAPHNE (also known as TWIN) and MIKHAEL's older brother. His family runs the bakery inside the OTHERMART.

APPEARANCE[]
BOWEN has short dark hair which is curved at the left side and tanned skin alike to his sister. He appears to have a bored looking resting face similar to OMORI. He seen wearing a white button up with taupe coloured pants, which appears to just be his uniform when working at the bakery.
PERSONALITY[]
BOWEN is the less outspoken twin, having less dialogue than his twin sister DAPHNE. Despite this he does mention his views of school being unimportant if the twins are to take over the bakery when they graduate, stating "Why go to school at all?" BOWEN also, like his sister, enjoys playing games but gets bored quickly. He seems to spend most of his time with DAPHNE.
STORY[]
THREE DAYS LEFT[]
In the early afternoon, BOWEN and most of his family can be seen walking towards the CHURCH in order to attend the Sunday mass. Because of this, his family had to leave a note at the bakery that explains that their bakery is closed on Sundays.
During the sermon, he and his family witnessed the fight between AUBREY, KEL, and SUNNY. However, both he and his twin sister don't make any comment on the matter. Instead, the twins remain sitting beside their family and only noting that they go to church often.
TWO DAYS LEFT[]
The twins return to the bakery on the morning of TWO DAYS LEFT. In the evening, SUNNY can play hide and seek with BOWEN and his twin, DAPHNE. The two can be found under the bed in MIKHAEL's room, where they'll surprise SUNNY, thinking that he's MIKHAEL. DAPHNE expresses that as MIKHAEL has gotten older, he's become "too cool" to play with her and her brother. BOWEN agrees with this, mainly speaking in short add-ons to whatever DAPHNE is saying. After the game of hide and seek concludes, the twins can be found in their bedroom. If SUNNY has previously bought a PET ROCK then Daphne mentions it and BOWEN asks if they would like to clash. Completing the hide and seek game with him and DAPHNE will contribute a flower to the Universally Loved achievement.

- His name is a callback to one of the game's musicians Bo En, whose last name is Bowen.
- It is most likely that he and DAPHNE served as the inspiration for the UNBREAD TWINS in HEADSPACE. Their bakery has been open for generations, and they had been making bread for years and years, inspiring the fact that the UNBREAD TWINS had been baking bread since the inception of the universe.
- In addition, both the real and dream TWINS repeat "Fresh bread...fresh bread..." whilst at work, and their names even begin with the same letter as their HEADSPACE selves. Because BOWEN is not as talkative, DAPHNE's HEADSPACE self speaks for the both of them.
