RITA is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is one of the six mermaid sisters that runs DEEP WELL's local MUSTARD SUB.

RITA is a mermaid with light purple skin, magenta eyes, and long violet hair that reaches her chest. The only clothing she wears is an lavender bikini top. From the waist down, RITA has a horizontal fish-like tail with pink scales and fins that exposes her belly button and midriff. She and her sisters look similar to one another, excluding their different color schemes and hairstyles.
PERSONALITY[]
RITA is an easygoing, friendly individual who has a positive demeanor. This trait is shared with most of her other sisters. She enjoys the quality of the food she and her sisters serve at the MUSTARD SUB. RITA is also notably hard-working due to wanting to help her sisters earn better income via earning more CLAMS from working at the LAST RESORT.
STORY[]
RITA first appears at the LAST RESORT's first floor on TWO DAYS LEFT alongside PAM, JULIA, and LUCY. She is found hosting one of the nearby blackjack tables. When spoken to, RITA informs the group of the cafe she and her sisters own, adding that they should go check it out sometime as the food there is good. She will repeat this dialogue if spoken to again.
On ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE, after HERO takes over the LAST RESORT, the four mermaid sisters at the casino will return back to the MUSTARD SUB. From there, RITA can be found singing on the stage alongside JULIA and LUCY. The three sisters cannot be interacted with due to being occupied with singing one of their songs.
TRIVIA[]
- RITA's namesake is presumably a reference to The Beatles song Lovely Rita. Her other sisters' namesakes also serve as direct references to the other Beatles songs they were named after.
