JOY is a young girl who resides in the same house as THICK EYEBROWS and the soon-to-be former home of MICHAEL. She appears to be somewhat pale and short in stature. Her ears poke through her shoulder-length bobbed hair, and seems to wear a green vest with a white undershirt.

JOY shows admiration for the career choice of her brother and compliments his playing. She also struggles in her English classes, thus the flyer for a tutor.
STORY[]
THREE DAYS LEFT[]
JOY is first met upon bringing the BLUE FLYER to JOY'S HOUSE. After assisting her with her homework, her father expresses gratitude over the help and pays SUNNY, telling him to come back to tutor JOY the next day. The following answers for her homework on THREE DAYS LEFT consists of:

If SUNNY has tutored JOY on THREE DAYS LEFT, he will be able to visit her house again and JOY still stays in her room. When talked to in the morning, JOY tells SUNNY she wants to hang out, asking SUNNY if he can help her finish today's worksheet.
If SUNNY agrees to take the quest, JOY will express her surprise on SUNNY accepting it before leaving the house. The following answers for her homework on TWO DAYS LEFT consists of:

When talked to, she tells SUNNY that MICHAEL told her he has decided to leave their home to become a musician, but she accidentally told their father about it and feels sorry. In the evening, JOY can be found sitting in the dining room with THICK EYEBROWS, being joyful that her father decided to take her and her grandmother to the beach tomorrow.

- JOY seems to be based off of HAPPY, her friends being BRENT (BROWS) and JESSE (BANGS). The appearance of their HEADSPACE counterparts seem to be from SUNNY's stuffed animals shown in BASIL's PHOTO ALBUM.
- Completing JOY's grammar worksheet on THREE DAYS LEFT is a requirement for the Universally Loved achievement.
- As stated by her father, THICK EYEBROWS, JOY needs help with second-grade English subjects. However, she may be the same age as BRENT and JESSE, since the latter says the three of them were friends for a long time until the former two started taking their studies very seriously.
