STATS featured in-game refer to the numerical properties of both party members and enemies. In fact, these values have a role in affecting a battle's aspects, such as the damage output inflicted, damage one can take, and how fast it ends.
OVERVIEW[]
STATS can viewed through the EQUIP tab of the PLAYER MENU as mentioned by HERO's SELF-HELP GUIDE. From there, the player can view a party member's stats and customize the weapons and charms equipped to them. Most weapons and charms can boost certain stats, as well as a few snacks such as the SNO-CONE. The following values presented consist of:
- HEART: HEART is the
HP value, representing the health points party members and enemies have. If a party member's HEART is depleted completely, they become TOAST and are unable to battle nor earn any EXP unless revived.
- JUICE: JUICE is the
MP value, representing the magic points party members and enemies possess. Note that only party members are required to have a certain amount of JUICE to use their SKILLS. Enemies, on the other hand, do not require JUICE for their SKILLS, instead using this trait to reduce damage taken when inflicted with SADNESS.
- ATTACK: Determines the damage dealt to a foe. A higher ATTACK stat increases chances of landing critical blows, more or less with a few exceptions depending on a character's stats.
- DEFENSE: Determines how much damage received is reduced against an enemy's attacks and skills. Most of the time, higher DEFENSE reduces the amount of damage taken, with a few exceptions to certain SKILLS that end up bypassing/ignoring one's DEFENSE stat.
- SPEED: SPEED is the AGILITY value, determining the order of which friends and foes perform their actions. It also impacts the chances of running away from a battle, as well as various SKILL formulas.
- LUCK: LUCK affects a user’s CRITICAL HIT rate. This in turn gives them a higher chance of landing heavy damage to a foe. It is also noteworthy that each LUCK point adds 1% to the CRITICAL HIT rate of a character but doesn’t increase when leveling up.
- HIT RATE: A character's HIT RATE determines the possibility of them successfully landing a blow on an enemy. The HIT stat displayed in-game is the HIT RATE being divided by 1%. When the HIT RATE is greater than or equal to 100%, the character can always successfully hit the enemy. The lower the HIT RATE, the more likely a user’s attacks will miss.
HEADSPACE LEVEL STATS[]
OMORI[]

The data table shows OMORI's raw stats (without any item bonuses, nor HEARTS bonuses gained by watering plants, nor any special bonuses).
The player can boost OMORI's HEART stat by constantly watering the flowers near the path to BASIL'S HOUSE. Though, just note that OMORI can only gain HEARTS from the tulip, sunflower and the lily of the valley flowers. In addition, every party member's JUICE can be increased by 5 points for every new CLUB SANDWICH that the party lodges at.
OMORI can also gain an extra boost of 50 HEART, 50 JUICE, 10 ATTACK, 10 DEFENSE and 10 SPEED by accepting the sacrifice offered by the BRANCH CORAL within the DEEPER WELL area. The sacrifice involves eating an red apple that morphs itself into SUNNY's head. Doing this action has no impact on the story.
AUBREY[]

The data table shows AUBREY's raw stats (without any item bonuses, nor HEARTS bonuses gained by watering plants, nor any special bonuses).
The player can boost AUBREY's HEART stat by constantly watering the flowers near the path to BASIL'S HOUSE. Though, just note that AUBREY can only gain HEARTS from the gladiolus flowers. In addition, every party member's JUICE can be increased by 5 points for every new CLUB SANDWICH that the party lodges at.
AUBREY can also gain an additional 50 JUICE boost by talking to BERLY within the playground after helping her find her ball and smashing VAN after learning the tag mechanic in the JUNKYARD.
KEL[]

The data table shows KEL's base stats (without any item bonuses, nor HEARTS bonuses gained by watering plants, nor any special bonuses).
The player can boost KEL's HEART stat by constantly watering the flowers near the path to BASIL'S HOUSE. Though, just note that KEL can only gain HEARTS from the cactus flowers. In addition, every party member's JUICE can be increased by 5 points for every new CLUB SANDWICH that the party lodges at.
KEL can also gain an additional 50 HEART boost by talking to PLUTO in his hole after defeating him in MR. JAWSUM's office within the LAST RESORT.
HERO[]

The player can boost HERO's HEART stat by constantly watering the flowers near the path to BASIL'S HOUSE. Though, just note that HERO can only gain HEARTS from the rose flowers. In addition, every party member's JUICE can be increased by 5 points for every new CLUB SANDWICH that the party lodges at.
After defeating MR. JAWSUM and PLUTO (EXPANDED), take HERO down to the golden door in 1F of the LAST RESORT. He'll unlock the password-guarded door where you can access CLUB SANDWICH. Talk to the MR. SCAREBRO with HERO as the party leader a couple of times, and take up his offer to punch him. HERO will gain an 20 ATTACK boost for this.
BASIL[]

The data table below shows BASIL's raw stats (without any item bonuses nor special bonuses).
Due to only being playable during the console-exclusive BASIL RUSH event on the OMORI ROUTE, BASIL's overall stats are determined on OMORI's level, meaning that his level is automatically set to OMORI's. His stats will also go up if OMORI's level constantly increases until reaching the max level of 50.

In addition, SUNNY cannot unequip any weapon he has currently equipped in the menu system. This means that his initial ATTACK and HIT stats will increase depending on his combat weapon. Equipping the CHIMERA KEYCHAIN or SEASHELL NECKLACE can slightly increase some of SUNNY's stats.

OMORI BOSS FIGHT[]

The table below lists SUNNY's raw stats exclusive to the OMORI boss fight on the SUNNY ROUTE. SUNNY's HEART, ATTACK, DEFENSE, and SPEED all take a drastic boost once his three friends vanish during the BACKSTAGE scene.
In addition, when facing off against his "alter ego", a state named (Status) Final Battle will increase his HIT RATE by 1000%. The SEASHELL NECKLACE also retains its effects, increasing HEART and JUICE for the final battle if it is equipped.[2]

- Originally, KEL's HEART stats weren't that high compared to the other party members in HEADSPACE, resulting in him being taken out very easily in early battles. This was changed following a patch within version 1.0.2 and onwards, where KEL is given an extra 4 HEART from LEVEL 1-49.[3]
