WATERMIMIC is an enemy in OMORI. It is one of the many enemies found within HUMPHREY.

WATERMIMICs appear as normal green watermelons before being interacted with. While fighting, the WATERMIMIC will use various items on the party, ranging from healing their health and juice to dealing damage.
STORY[]
WATERMIMICS randomly appear throughout HUMPHREY for each section of this location. When trying to smash a watermelon in HUMPHREY, a few of them will turn out to be a WATERMIMIC in disguise. When battling one, it can either grant the party healing items for their HEART and JUICE or outright damage them.

Every turn, each enemy will start by trying to use the skill listed at the top. If the calculation fails, they move on to the second skill and so on, until reaching the final skill which is guaranteed to activate. Each calculation is done independently from the previous ones, so the added percentage is not 100%.

- In the game's files, the WATERMIMIC is referred to as watermelon mimic.
- Like the VENUS FLYTRAP, the WATERMIMIC will never reward the party anything other than what it usually drops from its lootbox. In addition, both enemies resemble a watermelon as a part of their disguise.
- Some of its skills contain unused dialogue, including one skill that does not exist anywhere else in the game's files.
