WEEPING WILLOW is a quest in OMORI. It is one of the many optional HEADSPACE sidequests available when talking with the WEEPING WILLOW in PYREFLY FOREST.
STORY[]
Upon entering PYREFLY FOREST and heading west in the first room, this will lead the party to a dead end where the JOKE BOOK can be obtained to record jokes from the signs scattered throughout HEADSPACE.
If the player decides to throw some CLAMS into the sparkling point in the pond close to it, this will summon WEEPING WILLOW, who'll ask the party to tell her some. With an empty JOKE BOOK in hand, the group's task is to find some jokes and write them into the book after initiating her sidequest.
A total of seven jokes can be found when interacting with the JOKE SIGNS in the following locations:

When returning to WEEPING WILLOW, only HERO will be able to tell her the joke, as the younger members of group are too embarrassed to read them out loud. You need to tell her the Construction Joke, obtained from the UNDERWATER HIGHWAY, as that is the only one that will get her to laugh.
If HERO tells her a joke other than the Construction Joke, WEEPING WILLOW will cry and head back beneath the pond. Telling her the Construction Joke will complete her quest.
REWARD[]
Upon making the WEEPING WILLOW laugh, the party is rewarded with the LOL SWORD, a weapon that can only be wielded by HERO. She will then thank the group before fading away as her time in HEADSPACE is up. From there, she can no longer be interacted anymore. Completing this quest also yields the xD achievement.
